Description
The Dublin Liberties 10 Years Old carries the Copper Alley name, after the medieval lane that once ran through the quarter, and was bottled in 2019, the same year the distillery opened on Mill Street. Malt of this age is sourced stock, selected and matured under the Liberties banner in the bonder tradition, and this release stayed home for the Irish market.
Ex-bourbon casks handled the full ten years, building the classic American oak profile of vanilla, honey and coconut over the malt's orchard fruit and gentle citrus. At 46% it keeps good weight in the mouth, a straightforward, well aged Irish single malt that lets the cask and the barley do the talking.
