This Single Cask is a 3 year old from 2016, drawn from ex-Bourbon barrel 1610872 and bottled undiluted. An outturn of 254 bottles. Kingsbarns, founded by the Wemyss family in 2014, is a Lowland distillery in the East Neuk of Fife.

From a restored Georgian steading near St Andrews, Kingsbarns runs long-necked stills for a light, fruity Lowland spirit. Matured in a single ex-Bourbon cask, the wood frames the very young malt.

Bottled at its natural cask strength of 61.6%. Vanillin from the ex-Bourbon reads as vanilla, oak lactones as coconut, the youth and full strength keeping it bright and lively. A young single cask from Fife.
