Description
The Distillery Reserve 2024 is a hand-selected Kingsbarns matured in ex-Bourbon and bottled undiluted, an outturn of 3,000 bottles. Kingsbarns is a Lowland distillery in the East Neuk of Fife, founded by the Wemyss family in 2014, with Isabella Wemyss selecting the casks.
The distillery sits in a restored farm steading near St Andrews, its long-necked stills making a light, fruity, unpeated Lowland spirit. Matured in ex-Bourbon, the cask frames the young Fife malt.
Bottled at its natural cask strength of 58.2%. The ex-Bourbon lends vanilla through vanillin and coconut through oak lactones, the full strength lifting the distillery's bright fruit. A hand-selected distillery reserve.
