Description

An T-Earrach 2025 is the spring release of Kilchoman's Uniquely Islay Series, a 9 year old from 2016 matured in ex-Bourbon with Marsala, drawn from cask 16/1181. An outturn of 251 bottles for Germany. Kilchoman, founded by Anthony Wills in 2005, is the only farm distillery on Islay.

Malting, distilling and bottling all happen on the farm, the barley to bottle way. Matured in a single ex-Bourbon and Marsala cask, the fortified wine wood adds a caramelised sweetness.

Bottled at its natural cask strength of 56.1%. The ex-Bourbon gives vanilla, the Marsala caramelised brown sugar, while peat phenols carry the smoke. A Marsala spring single cask from the seasonal series.
