Description

This Kh1 was bottled by Speciality Drinks for its Elements of Islay range, which codes Islay distilleries by abbreviation, Kh for Kilchoman. A 5 year old ex-Bourbon release for Germany. Kilchoman, founded by Anthony Wills in 2005, is the island's only farm distillery.

The distillery grows and malts barley on site and bottles on the farm. Matured in ex-Bourbon casks, the wood frames the young peated spirit.

Bottled at its natural cask strength of 59.7%. Citrus and vanilla from the ex-Bourbon meet a strong peat-phenol smoke. A young farm malt from the Elements of Islay range.
