Kilchoman Triskele Casks – Netherlands Exclusive

This Kilchoman Triskele Casks is a Netherlands Exclusive small batch, vatted from Sauternes, ex-Bourbon and Oloroso casks. An outturn of 1,260 bottles. Kilchoman, founded by Anthony Wills in 2005, is the island's only farm distillery.

The distillery malts its own barley and bottles on the farm. Matured across Sauternes, ex-Bourbon and Oloroso casks, the three woods layer honeyed apricot, vanilla and dried fruit.

Bottled at 48.7%. The Sauternes gives honeyed apricot, the ex-Bourbon vanilla, the Oloroso dried fruit, while peat phenols carry the smoke. The recorded notes run to citrus, a coal-gas edge, dried fruit, a fragrant lift, a green leafy note and a husky edge. A multi-cask small batch for the Netherlands.
