Description

An T-Earrach 2025 is the spring release of Kilchoman's Uniquely Islay Series, an 11 year old from 2014 drawn from ex-Bourbon cask 14/201. An outturn of 242 bottles for Europe. Kilchoman, founded by Anthony Wills in 2005, is Islay's only farm distillery.

The distillery malts its own barley and bottles on the farm. Matured in a single ex-Bourbon cask over eleven years, the wood frames the young peated spirit.

Bottled at its natural cask strength of 53.8%. The ex-Bourbon gives vanilla and citrus while peat phenols carry the smoke. The recorded notes run to fresh fruit, malt sweetness, fresh oak and smoke. A spring single cask from the seasonal series.
