Description

This An T-Earrach 2022 spring release of Kilchoman's Uniquely Islay Series is an 8 year old from 2014 drawn from ex-Bourbon cask 322. An outturn of 246 bottles for Germany. Founded by Anthony Wills in 2005 at Rockside Farm, Kilchoman is the only farm distillery on Islay.

At Rockside Farm the whole process runs from barley to bottle on one site. Matured in a single ex-Bourbon cask over eight years, the wood frames the young peated spirit.

Bottled at its natural cask strength of 55.3%. Vanilla and citrus come from the ex-Bourbon wood, with peat phenols carrying the smoke. A spring single cask from the seasonal series.
