This An Samhradh 2023 summer release of Kilchoman's Uniquely Islay Series is an 8 year old from 2014 drawn from ex-Bourbon cask 642. An outturn of 245 bottles for Germany. Kilchoman, founded by Anthony Wills in 2005, is the only farm distillery on Islay.

Kilchoman malts its barley on site and bottles on the farm, a barley to bottle approach rare in Scotch. Matured in a single ex-Bourbon cask over eight years, the wood frames the young peated spirit.

Bottled at its natural cask strength of 54.8%. The ex-Bourbon gives vanilla and citrus while peat phenols carry the smoke. A summer single cask from the seasonal series.
