Description

This Single Cask was bottled for Whisky Import Nederland, a 5 year old from 2008, ex-Bourbon cask 169. An outturn of 258 bottles for the Netherlands. Kilchoman, founded by Anthony Wills in 2005, is Islay's only farm distillery.

The distillery follows its barley from field to bottle on the one Islay farm. Matured in a single ex-Bourbon cask, the wood frames the young peated spirit.

Bottled at its natural cask strength of 59.8%. Citrus and vanilla from the ex-Bourbon meet a strong peat-phenol smoke. A young single cask for a Dutch importer.
