Description

This Single Cask was bottled for the Tokyo International Bar Show, a 4 year old from 2007, ex-Bourbon cask 239, a rare release for Japan. Kilchoman, the island's only farm distillery, was founded by Anthony Wills in 2005.

The distillery malts its own barley and bottles on the farm, a barley to bottle approach. Matured in a single ex-Bourbon cask, the wood frames the young peated spirit.

Bottled at its natural cask strength of 60.3%. Citrus and vanilla from the ex-Bourbon meet a strong peat-phenol smoke. A young single cask for a Japanese show.
