Description

This Single Cask was bottled for Hanse Spirit, the German spirits fair, a 4 year old from 2006, cask 249. Kilchoman, founded by Anthony Wills in 2005, is Islay's only farm distillery.

Kilchoman handles malting through bottling on its own Islay farm. Matured in a single ex-Bourbon cask, the wood frames the very young peated spirit.

Bottled at its natural cask strength of 60.4%. The cask gives vanilla and citrus while peat phenols drive the smoke hard. A young early single cask for a German fair.
