Description

This Single Cask was bottled for the German market, a 5 year old from 2007 drawn from three ex-Bourbon casks. An outturn of 762 bottles. Anthony Wills founded Kilchoman in 2005; it is the only farm distillery on Islay.

The distillery follows its barley from field to bottle on the one Islay farm. Matured in ex-Bourbon casks, the wood frames the young peated spirit.

Bottled at its natural cask strength of 59.3%. Vanilla and citrus come from the ex-Bourbon, the peat phenols driving the smoke. A young early release for Germany.
