Kilchoman handles malting through bottling on its own Islay farm. Matured in a single red wine cask, the wine wood brings dark fruit and a drying grip to the young peated spirit.

Bottled at its natural cask strength of 57%. The red wine cask gives dark berry and plum with wine tannins, while peat phenols carry the smoke. The recorded notes run to a coal-gas edge, seasoned oak and smoke. A red wine single cask for Germany.
