This Sauternes Single Cask is a 7 year old from 2014, matured in a Sauternes wine cask, number 704. An outturn of 247 bottles for the Netherlands. Kilchoman, founded by Anthony Wills in 2005, is the island's only farm distillery.

The distillery follows its barley from field to bottle on the one Islay farm. Matured in a single Sauternes cask, the sweet wine wood adds honeyed fruit.

Bottled at its natural cask strength of 55.5%. The Sauternes gives honeyed apricot and candied citrus while peat phenols carry the smoke. The recorded notes run to citrus, a medicinal edge, smoke and vanilla. A Sauternes single cask for the Netherlands.
