This Rum Finished Single Cask is a 7 year old from 2012, finished in a rum cask, cask 414. An outturn of 252 bottles for Belgium. The Wills family's Kilchoman, founded in 2005, is the only farm distillery on Islay.

Every stage from malting to bottling happens at Rockside Farm. Matured in a rum cask, the wood adds a molasses sweetness to the young peated spirit.

Bottled at its natural cask strength of 57.6%. The rum cask gives molasses and a soft banana note from its esters while peat phenols carry the smoke. The recorded notes run to citrus and smoke. A rum-finished single cask for Belgium.
