Description

This Pedro Ximénez Single Cask Finish is a 7 year old from 2013, finished in a PX sherry cask, number 457, for the UK. Kilchoman, founded by Anthony Wills in 2005, is the island's only farm distillery.

The distillery grows and malts barley on site and bottles on the farm. Matured in ex-Bourbon and finished in a Pedro Ximenez cask, the sweetest of the sherry styles, the wood adds a sweet dark fruit.

Bottled at its natural cask strength of 55.4%. The PX lends raisin and date through its melanoidins, the peat phenols a smoky layer. A PX-finished single cask for the UK.
