Kilchoman for Flickenschild 5 Years Old 2019

This Single Cask was bottled for Flickenschild, the German retailer, a 5 year old from 2019 matured in a Port cask, number 19/1994. A small outturn of 126 bottles. Kilchoman, founded by Anthony Wills in 2005, is the only farm distillery on Islay.

The distillery malts its own barley and bottles on the farm, a barley to bottle approach. Matured in a single Port cask, the wine wood adds plum and cherry.

Bottled at its natural cask strength of 56.2%. The Port gives plum and cherry with a jammy sweetness while peat phenols carry the smoke. A young Port single cask for a German retailer.
