Description

This Distillery Exclusive is a 12 year old Oloroso single cask from 2012, cask 12/546, sold to visitors at Kilchoman on Islay. An outturn of 349 bottles. The Wills family's Kilchoman, founded in 2005, is the only farm distillery on Islay.

Kilchoman handles malting through bottling on its own Islay farm. Matured in a single Oloroso cask over twelve years, the sherry wood wraps the peated spirit in dark fruit.

Bottled at 45.9%. From the Oloroso come dried fruit and a fig-and-raisin depth, while peat phenols bring the smoke. A distillery-only sherried single cask.
