Description

This Collection Foundations release is a 9 year old ex-Bourbon single cask from 2014, cask 662, released for France. An outturn of 245 bottles. Anthony Wills founded Kilchoman in 2005; it is the only farm distillery on Islay.

Every stage from malting to bottling happens at Rockside Farm. Matured in a single ex-Bourbon cask over nine years, the wood frames the peated spirit.

Bottled at its natural cask strength of 57.8%. Vanilla and citrus come from the ex-Bourbon wood, with peat phenols carrying the smoke. A bourbon single cask from the Collection Foundations line.
