Description

La Maison du Whisky bottled this 8 year old 2015 Kilchoman as a 100% Islay single cask, made entirely from the distillery's own barley, from ex-Bourbon cask 36. An outturn of 254 bottles for France. Kilchoman, founded by Anthony Wills in 2005, is the island's only farm distillery.

Grown, malted, distilled and bottled at Rockside Farm, this is barley to bottle from a single cask. The own-grown barley is lightly peated and matured in a single ex-Bourbon cask.

Bottled at its natural cask strength of 57.9%. The ex-Bourbon gives vanilla and citrus while gentle peat phenols carry the smoke. A 100% Islay single cask from a French specialist.
