Description

The 100% Islay 7th Edition is Kilchoman's own-barley single malt at seven years old, from 2010. The founding range of the distillery, it is grown, malted, distilled and bottled at Rockside Farm on Islay. Kilchoman was the first new distillery on Islay in over 124 years.

Every step happens on the one farm, a barley to bottle whisky. The own-grown barley is lightly peated and matured in ex-Bourbon casks.

Bottled at its natural cask strength of 50%. The ex-Bourbon gives vanilla and citrus while gentle peat phenols carry the smoke. The recorded notes run to citrus, fresh fruit, malt sweetness, smoke and vanilla. The 2010 seven year old farm vintage.
