La Maison du Whisky bottled this 12 year old 2010 Kilchoman from ex-Bourbon cask 705. An outturn of 244 bottles for France. Kilchoman, founded by Anthony Wills in 2005, is Islay's only farm distillery.

The distillery grows and malts barley on site and bottles on the farm. Matured in a single ex-Bourbon cask over twelve years, the wood frames the peated spirit.

Bottled at its natural cask strength of 54.5%. The cask gives vanilla and citrus, and peat phenols carry the smoke through. A bourbon single cask from a French specialist.
