Kilchoman 100% Islay 7 Years Old 2013

This 7 Years Old 100% Islay is a single cask from 2013, made entirely from Kilchoman's own Islay barley and drawn from ex-Bourbon cask 426. An outturn of 268 bottles for Belgium. Kilchoman is Islay's only farm distillery, the first new distillery on the island in over 124 years when Anthony Wills founded it in 2005.

Grown, malted, distilled and bottled at Rockside Farm, a barley to bottle whisky. The own-grown barley is lightly peated and matured in a single ex-Bourbon cask.

Bottled at its natural cask strength of 53%. The ex-Bourbon gives vanilla and citrus while gentle peat phenols carry the smoke. A single cask of the farm single malt, the founding philosophy from one barrel.
