Description

La Maison du Whisky bottled this 10 year old 2010 Kilchoman for The Wills Family Cask Collection, honouring Kathy Wills, co-founder of the distillery, from ex-Bourbon cask 281. An outturn of 254 bottles for France. Kilchoman, founded by Anthony and Kathy Wills in 2005, is the only farm distillery on Islay.

Malting, distilling and bottling all happen on the farm, the barley to bottle way. Matured in a single ex-Bourbon cask over ten years, the wood frames the peated spirit.

Bottled at its natural cask strength of 54.2%. The ex-Bourbon gives vanilla and citrus while peat phenols carry the smoke. A family-themed bourbon single cask from a French specialist.
