It comes from Kanosuke, the Kagoshima distillery opened in 2017 by shochu producer Komasa, where three pot stills and a warm coastal climate are central to the house character.

Matured in Ex-Bourbon casks, this expression follows the distillery's typical path of building vanilla and light orchard and tropical fruit character through the accelerated maturation that Kagoshima's southern warmth provides.
