Isle of Jura Tastival 2015

The Tastival 2015 was Isle of Jura's festival release that year, an 18 year old matured in ex-Bourbon oak and bottled at a cask strength 52%. An outturn of 3,970 bottles. The distillery stands alone on the remote island of Jura, rebuilt in 1963 after six decades in ruins.

The distillery's light, clean spirit rewards a long maturation at full strength. Matured in ex-Bourbon casks across 18 years, the wood deepens the honeyed malt.

Bottled at its natural cask strength of 52%. The ex-Bourbon wood gives vanillin for vanilla and oak lactones for coconut. The recorded notes run to citrus, fresh fruit, a green leafy lift, honey, a nutty note and seasoned oak. A full-strength festival edition Jura.
