This 14 year old 1986 Isle of Jura was bottled for the Authentic Collection in ex-Bourbon oak, at a powerful cask strength 59.8%. An outturn of 702 bottles for Germany. The Jura distillery, the island's only one, rose again in 1963 after the original had fallen to ruin.

The distillery's light, clean spirit holds a high strength well. Matured in ex-Bourbon oak across 14 years, the wood frames the honeyed malt.

Bottled at its natural cask strength of 59.8%. The ex-Bourbon cask lends vanilla through vanillin and coconut through oak lactones. At nearly sixty percent the honeyed island character comes with real drive. A vivid full-strength independent Jura.
