Bright lemon and a cool wash of mint sit over a soft, aquavit-tinged backbone of cardamom and liquorice. Made by Det Norske Brenneri and dressed in the brand’s mythical horned hare, it nods to Scandinavia’s spirit traditions without losing its juniper. Citrus-clean, faintly herbal, and easy to fall for.

Description
Det Norske Brenneri has built a quietly serious reputation in Norway, and Harahorn is its calling card, the bottle marked with a horned hare lifted from local folklore. This White Lemon edition belongs to the New Western school, leaning on citrus and spice rather than a juniper monologue, and it borrows openly from the cardamom-and-caraway character that runs through Scandinavian aquavit. Small batches, traditional craft, and a clear love of the regional larder shape the whole thing.
The nose is all citrus fruits and green herbs; the palate brings cardamom warmth, a lift of mint, sweet lemon and orange, and a thread of liquorice underneath. The finish is long and gently sweet rather than dry. Pour it over plenty of ice with a light tonic and a long curl of lemon peel to keep that fresh, herbal lift front and centre.
