Its light, fruity spirit is made on River Lossie water. Owned by the French house La Martiniquaise since 2008. This is Glen Moray, a pioneer of cask finishing.

    A Glen Moray of a 13 year old chosen by the bottler Blackadder, distilled in 2001, from cask 6753, bottled at 59.9%, one of 210 bottles. Glen Moray is a fruity Speyside malt made on River Lossie water at Elgin. It is known for excellent value, with age statements priced more keenly than most.

    The spirit was drawn off the stills for a clean, fruity Speyside spirit, for the light, fruity make Glen Moray is known for. Most Glen Moray begins in American oak ex-Bourbon, the base for its cask finishes. By the integrating teens congeners fade and esters build, the light, fruity spirit growing rounder. Long ageing turns the fresh apple towards dried fruit, honey and a soft spice. Its light, fresh spirit suits a wide range of cask finishes, from sherry to rum. The light, fruity make takes cask flavour well while keeping its apple and pear. It was built on Gallow Hill at Elgin, the old site of the town's hangings.

    At a natural 59.9% it is full and fruity. A clean, fruity sweetness, with a soft vanilla from the oak. The mouthfeel is light, the fruit carried on a clean body. It finishes light, fresh and fruity. This is a fresh, fruity Speyside single malt.
