Gaenserndorfer Kulinarium Haselnuss Cream-Likoer is an Austrian hazelnut cream liqueur from Horvath's Spezereyen, bottled at 15% and made from fully ripened hazelnuts refined into a velvety liqueur. It combines finely roasted nut flavours with a smooth dairy cream structure, in the homogenised cream style where cream and spirit are blended into a stable emulsion. The roasted hazelnut character is its signature, reminiscent of fine nut cream and chocolate.
The nose is roasted hazelnuts with fine cream and delicate chocolate notes, the palate creamy and smooth with an intense hazelnut aroma, fine sweetness and elegant nut nougat notes, finishing mild, creamy and pleasantly long. Behind the bar it works as a nutty body and dessert ingredient, adding dairy richness, roasted hazelnut flavour and sweetness in one pour. It enriches ice cream, tiramisu and chocolate desserts, gives a Nutty Irishman or a hazelnut White Russian a roasted depth, and combines well with coffee. Pour it neat or over ice. As a cream liqueur it is a dairy product once opened, so keep it cool and use it fresh.
