Don Julio Tequila Blanco

Don Julio Blanco is the unaged anchor of one of the largest tequila brands in the world, produced at NOM 1449 in Atotonilco el Alto, Jalisco, and now owned by Diageo. Founder Don Julio González was meticulous about every step from agave cultivation to bottling, and is credited with the low, rounded bottle shape designed so drinkers could still see each other across the table. The house makes both 100% agave and mixto tequilas, and this Blanco is a 100% Blue Weber agave expression.
Drawn from the house's own agave and bottled unaged at 38%, it is built to show the spirit clean and direct. Expect notes of black pepper, citrus and cooked agave with just a faint touch of wood, all held in a harmonious balance, finishing clear and long. It is a widely available, polished Blanco that reads soft and approachable.
