Cask #4232 was distilled in 2015 and bottled in 2022 at 59.5% for the UK market after seven years in Ex-Bourbon wood, a distillery-bottled release for a discerning British audience.

Ex-Bourbon at seven years from the 2015 vintage shows Chichibu's new make in a familiar but concentrated form: orchard fruit, vanilla and light toasted grain from the American oak all present and well-integrated, without any single element dominating. The 59.5% cask strength keeps the whisky lively while remaining accessible, and the UK release reflects a deliberate selection of a single cask that represents the house style faithfully.
