Description

The 52 Seats of Happiness edition takes its name from Chichibu's small on-site tasting room, a detail that speaks to the intimate, visitor-focused character of the distillery Ichiro Akuto founded in Saitama in 2008 under the Venture Whisky banner. Bottled in 2020 as a NAS cask strength release for the Japanese domestic market, it is among the more locally oriented of the distillery's many limited editions.

Matured in Ex-Bourbon wood and bottled at 62.9%, the release follows the distillery's house programme. No specific flavour data is on record, but Ex-Bourbon at Chichibu typically produces a clean, fruit-forward profile built around vanilla, fresh stone fruit and sweet cereal.
