It sits at 23%, a touch lighter than the standard bottling and balanced for mixing, with a vivid red colour and a clear berry character. In the traditional macerated style, the fruit leads with a soft floral note behind.

The nose is fruity ripe wild strawberry with fine floral notes and a slight sweetness, and the palate is soft and full bodied, intense strawberry fruitiness held by a pleasant sweetness and a subtle acidity, closing long and fruity on freshly picked berries. Behind the bar it is built to mix: it carries a Fragolino Spritz with Prosecco and soda garnished with fresh strawberries, adds fruit and colour to sparkling cocktails, and brightens a fruity sour.
