Caselli Fragolino Liquore con Fragoline di Bosco is an Italian fruit liqueur from the Distilleria Galdino Caselli, built on hand picked wild strawberries soaked in alcohol to draw out their full flavour. That maceration gives the liqueur its bright red colour and its intense strawberry character. It sits at 25%, a higher strength that gives the fruit a firmer liqueur structure. In the traditional macerated style, the berry leads and a light floral note follows.

The nose is an intense bouquet of fresh wild strawberries with a hint of flower and subtle sweetness, and the palate is full bodied, fruity and harmonious, ripe strawberry and a light floral nuance balanced between sweetness and a gentle warmth, closing long and intensely fruity. Behind the bar it is a strawberry flavour and colour ingredient with body: it carries a Fragolino Spritz with Prosecco and soda garnished with fresh berries, adds fruit to a sour or a sparkling serve, and pours neat over ice. Serve it well chilled, and top with sparkling wine for the classic spritz.
