Description
ROSE GOLD is Bottega's rosé sparkling in the mirrored-bottle series, a Vino Spumante made from Pinot Nero grown in northern Italy. It is produced by the Charmat method, with the second fermentation in pressurised tank, a route that keeps the red fruit fresh and the mousse soft. The Brut dosage leaves the wine dry, and the tinted bottle is the line's signature look for gifting.
The colour is a bright pale pink with a fine, persistent bead. The nose leads with strawberry and raspberry, backed by red currant and a touch of cherry over a light floral note. The palate is crisp and light bodied, with clean red-berry fruit and gentle acidity through to a dry close. Serve chilled at 6 to 8 degrees in a tulip glass as an aperitif, or with charcuterie, roast poultry and fresh berries.
