Description
Bottega is a well-known Veneto producer, and Il Vino dei Poeti is among its best-known ranges. This bottling is a Millesimato, drawn from a single vintage, so it reflects the character of the 2025 harvest more clearly than a multi-year blend. Made from Glera by the Charmat method, with the second fermentation in pressurised tanks, it keeps the fruit primary and the bead fine and persistent. A Brut dosage holds the style dry, letting the fresh orchard fruit and floral character lead.
The colour is a pale straw yellow with a fine, lively perlage. The nose is fresh, with green apple, pear and white flowers over a light citrus note. The palate is fresh, fruity and harmonious, with elegant acidity and a soft, balanced, long finish. Serve well chilled at 6 to 8 degrees in a tulip glass or flute. It makes a good aperitif and pairs with antipasti, seafood, fish, light pasta and summer salads.
