Bepin De Eto Vino Spumante Rosato Flavé Brut Millesimato 2025

Bepin De Eto is a Veneto winery, and this Flave is its rose sparkling, a Millesimato Brut drawn from a single vintage. The wine is made in the tank method, with a controlled second fermentation that gives the persistent bead and holds the delicate red-fruit aromatics that define a good rose. As a Brut it keeps a dry balance, the modest sweetness set against fresh acidity, and at 12.5 per cent it has a little more weight than the lighter frizzante styles. The emphasis throughout is on clarity and fresh fruit rather than autolytic complexity.

The colour is a delicate pink with bright highlights and a fine, persistent bead. The nose gives red berries and soft floral notes over fresh fruit. The palate is lively and balanced, strawberry and red currant carried by harmonious acidity to a fresh, animated close. Serve at 6 to 8 degrees in a white wine glass. It works as an aperitif and pairs with antipasti, carpaccio, light poultry, fish and charcuterie.
