Description

Beefeater has been a fixture of London gin since James Burrough founded it in Chelsea in 1820, and it remains the only internationally sold gin still distilled entirely in the capital. This pink edition, made under the renowned master distiller Desmond Payne, folds natural strawberry sweetness into the brand's classic juniper and citrus base for a fresher, more modern character.

The nose is intensely fruity, all ripe strawberry. The palate keeps the typical Beefeater juniper and citrus firmly in place, with nuances of fresh strawberry running through, before a finish that lingers longer than its easy-going style suggests. At 37.5% it makes a bright, summery G&T with a light tonic and a few fresh strawberries to garnish.
