It retains the nine classic Beefeater botanicals (juniper, angelica root, angelica seeds, coriander seeds, licorice, almonds, orris root, Seville oranges, and lemon peel) but adds an extra dose of grapefruit peel for a more pronounced citrus character. Due to its bolder flavor, Crown Jewel is excellent for martinis or other cocktails where you want the gin to shine through.
