The benchmark London Dry, and it earns the title: a firm juniper spine, ripe citrus and the warm earth of coriander and angelica, all in clean balance. Still distilled in London to a recipe set in 1863, it is the classic against which others are measured. Crisp, fruity and dependably long.

Description
Beefeater was founded in 1820 by James Burrough in Chelsea and remains one of the few gins still distilled entirely within London. Master Distiller Desmond Payne, among the most experienced in the trade, holds to Burrough's original 1863 recipe, the steeped-botanical method that helped define the London Dry category. The Yeoman Warder on the label nods to the city this spirit has never left.
The nose is refreshing, all gentle citrus. The palate is complex and fruity, ripe citrus over a firm juniper backbone with coriander and angelica root lending earthy depth, before a long, clean finish. This is the natural choice for a dry Martini, but it makes an honest, classic G&T too, served over ice with a wedge of lemon.
