Description
Bedin is a Veneto grower based in the Colli Asolani, and this Treviso Brut is made from Glera in the classic dry style. The wine is produced by the Charmat method, taking its second fermentation in stainless steel tanks under temperature control, which preserves the floral and orchard-fruit aromatics rather than building autolytic complexity. Finished as a brut, it keeps a dry, clean palate with the fruit clearly in front. The magnum format and gift box suit a celebration or make an easy present.
The colour is a bright straw yellow with a fine, persistent bead. The nose shows apple, pear and white flowers with a light citrus edge, and the palate is dry and fresh, with ripe orchard fruit and a clean, invigorating finish. Serve well chilled at 6 to 8 degrees in a white wine glass. It is a straightforward aperitif and pairs with antipasti, light salads, white fish and shellfish.
