Cîroc is the unusual vodka distilled from grapes rather than grain, and Red Berry is its fruit-forward bottling. The grape base gives a softer, slightly fruity lift that suits the added strawberry, raspberry and redcurrant flavours. At 37.5% it is sweet but tangy, made for easy summer mixing.

Description
Cîroc is produced in France from grapes rather than the usual cereals, which gives the spirit a fruity, faintly floral lift that grain-based vodkas do not have. The grapes are fermented like wine and then distilled, with a final distillation that refines the base before red berry flavours, strawberry, raspberry and redcurrant, are added. Bottled at 37.5%, the result is a soft, juicy spirit where the grape origin and the fruit flavouring pull in the same direction rather than fighting each other.
The nose is full of fresh red berries, and the palate is soft and fruity with an intense berry blend and a gentle sweetness, closing long and lightly sweet. To play the fruit without making it cloying, build a berry spritz: 50ml over ice in a wine glass, topped with chilled prosecco and a splash of soda, with a few muddled fresh raspberries to lengthen the berry note. The bubbles dry it out and keep it refreshing.
