La Liqueur de Monin Framboise

La Liqueur de Monin Framboise is a raspberry liqueur from Monin, the French house out of Bourges that supplies syrups and liqueurs to bars. It holds the flavour of ripe, juicy raspberries at 18% in the 700ml bottle, built on raspberry extracts in the traditional macerated style that give a deep red colour and a fresh, clearly berry character.

The nose is ripe raspberry, fruity and a touch floral with a hint of citrus, the palate sweet and intensely fruity with the raspberry acidity well kept, the finish clean, juicy and long. In a drink it adds tart berry brightness, sweetness and a deep red colour, the balance of acid and fruit making it useful in a Clover Club, a French Martini or a Bramble. It also lifts a glass of sparkling wine, champagne or a non alcoholic spritz, and flavours fillings and fruit sauces in patisserie.
