Berliner Luft Super Strong Pfefferminzlikör

Berliner Luft Super Strong is the powerful version of the Schilkin peppermint liqueur from Berlin, bottled at 50% in 70cl. It keeps the brand's clear, refreshing peppermint character and pushes it to a far higher strength, with the range's faint anise, wormwood and gentian sitting beneath. In the flavoured peppermint style it stays crystal clear and sweetish-minty, only with significantly more power behind it.

The nose is intense peppermint with a menthol-fresh coolness, the palate sweetish-minty, strong and direct with a pronounced menthol kick, the finish long, cooling and clearly alcoholic with a lingering freshness. Its job in a glass is concentrated menthol and strength, which makes it a freezer-cold shot for committed mint fans and a useful high-proof modifier where a standard 18% liqueur would wash out. It also stands up in strong long drinks, in unusual cocktails, or stirred into hot cocoa. Serve it ice-cold, neat, straight from the freezer.
