Description
The Harajuku bottling is one of several place-named expressions in La Maison du Whisky's 2025 Paris Edition series from Chichibu. Each takes its name from a distinct location, adding specificity to what has been one of the most consistent annual single malt series in the French market. Chichibu is Venture Whisky's Saitama distillery, founded by Ichiro Akuto in 2008 and now one of the most closely followed craft Japanese whisky producers internationally.
Like its 2025 Paris Edition siblings, the Harajuku is matured in Ex-Bourbon casks and bottled at cask strength 50.5% for an event release. Ex-Bourbon wood at Chichibu consistently draws out vanilla, fresh and tropical fruit, and a clean cereal sweetness from the spirit, with the proof preserving the textural vibrancy of the new make. The location naming in this series is a point of distinction rather than an indicator of different cask provenance.
