Description
Aon, Gaelic for one, is Nc’nean's single-cask series. This 8 Year Old is one of the oldest, an early 2017 cask matured in ex-Bourbon and finished in a Bordeaux red wine cask, number 17-158.
Eight years in bourbon oak built vanilla over the light spirit before the Bordeaux cask added red fruit, plum and a soft tannic spice.
At 55.4% it shows red fruit and vanilla over a fruity body, undiluted. A mature Aon single cask.
