The Heart Cut bottled this 4 Year Old of Nc’nean as edition number 12, a 2020 spirit matured in ex-Bourbon and finished in a Madeira cask.
The bourbon oak lent vanilla before the Madeira cask added candied citrus and a cooked, baked-fruit tang from the fortified wine.
At 54% it shows cooked fruit and a fragrant, candied note, undiluted. A Madeira-finished Heart Cut.
