Description

The Scotch Malt Whisky Society codes its bottlings rather than naming distilleries, and 161 is Nc’nean; this is the first cask the Society released, titled The caped cake wrestler. A 2018 ex-Bourbon single cask.

Six years in low-tannin American oak gave the light, fruity organic spirit vanilla and a soft sweetness.

At 58.3% it shows citrus, orchard fruit and vanilla, undiluted. The Society's first Nc’nean.
